Excursions and Incursions

We, at Roxburgh Rise Primary School, believe educational excursions and visiting performances are a vital aspect of the school curriculum. These experiences allow our students to not only consolidate their learning but also participate in a range of hands on experiences that they may otherwise not undertake. Parents are asked to encourage their child’s participation in these activities.

The Department of Education & Training Victoria requires that parents sign a permission form for each excursion.

Any money sent to school for excursions should be placed inside an envelope, with the child’s name, grade, and purpose of the money written on the front.  This envelope MUST be handed to the classroom teacher not over the counter at the office.

Deadlines for money and notes will be strictly observed.

If financial considerations are relevant to you at any time, please see your child’s classroom teacher “prior to the deadline.”   They will assist in making personal arrangements for you.
