(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program at Roxburgh Rise Primary School has been designed to spark curiosity within the classroom, increasing students’ capacity to be independent, self-regulated learners who can transfer their learning and ideas to new situations. STEM allows students to apply their learning through engaging cross curricular lessons and encourages students to see the real-world relevance of the STEM elements while preparing them for the ever evolving world. Students learn skills such as coding, data entry and the importance of design in Engineering. Additionally, they explore Physical, Chemical, Biological and Earth and Space Science.
